set design #1

So this play is on in a month.
I love the text - it is called The Trestle at Pope Lick Creek.
It is a very dark play, but with a... what?... a luminosity. I don't know how i'm going to capture that!
But you will see with me.

This is my best sketch so far! Whoa. Really. That's the start, and that after a lot of scratching around. How will it develop? Will it stay the same? Will it change completely? The next few weeks will tell. What suspense.
